But also halfway through the review I had already looked up the book to buy/read until you started talking about the actual book itself… Your writing about the topic seems to have been much more engaging than the original author’s attempts so I’ll just wait for the Heaney-version to come out.

Yeah, magazines are increasingly anti-comment section, probably because moderating them is too much work!
I, on the other hand, am so happy Substack comments actually work that I'm more pro-comment than ever!
